Gamepod was founded in 1992 with a mission of providing the home video gaming market with a truly unique interactive solution, with that in mind Gamepod developed several innovative products geared towards that end.

In 1993 the Gamepod FS1 a fully enclosed self contained gaming environment was born.

Our product line was expanded in 1994 to include the Gamepod ES16, a replica of an F-16 ejection seat, complete with dual 12" subwoofers, 4-6" mid-range, 2-2" tweeters and 2 transducers, all combined to provide a completely immersive simulation experience.

In 1995 we introduced the Gamepod FS2, an open air F-16 cockpit complete with full instrumentation and flight controls.

While our main focus has changed over the years our original Gamepod products are still available on a limited production basis.
 
In 1998 with the popularity of Airsoft taking hold in the United States, and the founder of the company "bitten by the Airsoft bug" Gamepod enthusiastically formed Gamepod Combat Airsoft. Unlike some who see Airsoft as "the next fad to cash in on" while we are a business Gamepod is first and foremost founded out of a pure love of the sport!
