.. if you're looking for an M14 open field or bush land battle rifle, this is it .. the whole weight, look and feel of the unit takes one back to the early years of the Viet Nam war .. out of the box my M14 had its sights geared "on target" at 50 ft within a 12 cm circle and shot a respectable 340 fps with .20gs .. I recently had GamePod pour some magic into it .. it now shoots flawlessly at 440 fps with .20g and 415 with .25g .. the quality on this piece is outstanding and built tough .. not that one wants to intentionally abuse kit but, as in my case, if one takes a fall you want to be able to rely that your piece will continue to operate .. nice rate of fire on full auto, very accurate on semi .. mine shoots now within a 12 cm circle at 75ft with (I estimate) about a 10% hop up, in combat that's enough to service the target the way you want to and not have the target service you ..
