Airsoft weapons typically range in price between 200.00 to 400.00 for primary based solutions and 100.00 to160.00 for secondary based solutions.
Many Airsoft weapons are available in full metal versions which are virtually the exact same size and weight as the original weapons they replicate.
Most Airsoft primary weapons are battery operated using special rechargeable Nickle Metal Hydride battery packs. These packs can be charged several hundred times and due to the nature of the battery type time consuming discharging or battery conditioning is not required.
These weapons work through an electrical motor driven mechanical gearbox assembly which propel the projectile using air pressure.
These systems are extremely reliable and have a very consistent and long operating life which requires very little maintainance.

Most secondary weapons work on the principle of gas blowback(GBB) where the ammunition magazine is charged with a gas propellant. Ammunition is loaded in the magazine much the same way as their real steel counterpart and with similar ammunition capacities.
When fired these weapons function much the same as real secondary weapons with full slide cycling per shot. When empty the slide locks back in the open position allowing the magazine to be removed and replaced in the exact same manor as their real counterpart. All combining to make for an extremely realistic training experience.
Range:
Airsoft primary weapons typically have an effective range from 60 yards for stock weapons to 100+ yards for internally upgraded weapons.
Secondary weapons typically have an effective range of 25yards for stock weapons to 70+ yards for upgraded weapons.
