The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols of all time having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries from 1935 right up to the present day. The Hi-Power name alluded to the 13-round magazine capacity; almost twice that of contemporary designs of the day.

Just like the real steel, a cocked hammer can only be fired by trigger pull when the magazine is inserted. Just like the real steel, the rear iron sight is a tangent type with markings from 50 to 500m which means nothing to an Airsoft pistol but is faithful to the original all the same. Due to the magazine-in-only type fire system the trigger does have a stiff pull but repeated use allows an operator to get used to that.
